Pats fans encouraged to dress warm, bring blankets to Sunday's game

FOXBORO, Mass. — Officials at Gillette Stadium are encouraging fans to bring blankets, hand and feet warmers, and warm clothing to the Patriots game Sunday.

Fans are being asked to keep blankets folded and draped loosely over the arm for easy inspection. The use of battery-operated heated clothing is not allowed.

As usual, fans are also reminded that the NFL's clear bag policy is in effect.

Officials are also reminding attendees that drones are prohibited from Gillette and the surrounding parking lots.

Meteorologist Shiri Spear says the game will likely have wind chills between 0 and -5.

The Patriots will take on the Jets in the regular season finale on Sunday at 1:00.
