GLEN, N.H. — An amusement park in New Hampshire is working to make their park friendlier for children with autism.
Story Land will have two sensory sensitive days this weekend. The park says it will remain open for everyone on Saturday and Sunday, but it's making some changes.
Music will be turned down, smoking isn't allowed and a water sprinkler that randomly goes off will be turned off.
Story Land says it will also have a quiet dining area, comfort dogs on hand and a calming room.
This weekend is Sensory Sensitive Weekend! Please keep in mind that this event is open to the public, and Story Land will be a modified experience for all who choose to visit the park on 6/23 and 6/24.
